Our recent Gnoo Blas Ladies Day Show’n’Shine event was held to raise funds for The Orchard Housing Plus to continue their valuable work in support of women and children impacted by domestic violence. On Thursday 12 December, funds raised from the event were ceremoniously handed over to representatives of The Orchard totalling $2300. Many thanks to participants, stall holders and all those who came out on the day to make this great fund raising event possible.
Special thanks to Orange City Council who were very kind in waiving the fee for the use of Naylor Pavilion and allowing those funds to be added to the overall amount donated to The Orchard.
Also, many thanks to Jo Burton of Shannons Insurance for providing sponsorship that helped procure the trophies awarded on the day, and to Cr Tammy Greenhalgh for supporting our event and acting as our classic car judge for the day.
Gnoo Blas Classic Car Club looks forward to organising Ladies Day Show’n’Shine again in 2025.
