Council Of Motor Clubs NSW
The Council was formed in 1963 by five Sydney-based car clubs as a body to represent the interests of the historic and classic vehicle movement. The Council’s premier event of each year is the Shannons Sydney Classic. Over 1900 classic club vehicles are on display on a Sunday in August with each club involved in parade laps around the track, and Concours judging of some of the best historic and club vehicles in NSW.
Australian Motoring Heritage Foundation
Located at Sydney Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek, Australia’s heart of motoring passion, the AMHF is a strategic partner of the Australian Racing Drivers Club (ARDC). The Australian Motor Heritage Foundation is dedicated to to maintaining a comprehensive archive and library of materials about Australia’s motor heritage for the benefit of all Australians through preservation, education and research as we’re proud of our past and passionate about our future.

Formerly known as V8 Supercars, it is the premier racing category in Australia. The successor to the Australian Touring Car Championship and a heritage dating back 65 years of touring car racing that saw it competing in its first season on the now historic Gnoo Blas racing circuit in Orange, NSW.

NSW Historic/Classic Vehicle Registration
If you have a historic vehicle and you want to participate in events organised by historic vehicle clubs or community organisations, you’ll need to apply for a conditional vehicle registration under the Historic Vehicle Scheme (HVS) or the Classic Vehicle Scheme (CVS). Orange City Council
The Gnoo Blas Classic Car Club acknowledges and appreciates the support and financial assistance of the Orange City Council which assists the club in staging annual marquee events such as the popular Gnoo Blas Classic car show each February. The Gnoo Blas Classic draws many visitors to Orange from around the state and is a major contributor to the city’s tourism and hospitality sectors.
