In February 2025, the Member for Orange, Philip Donato MP, delivered a Community Recognition Statement in the Legislative Assembly of the NSW Parliament, formally recognising the Gnoo Blas Classic Car Club for its contributions and achievements within the Orange electorate.
In his address, Mr Donato acknowledged the Club’s ongoing commitment to the promotion of classic motoring, the preservation of Gnoo Blas motorsport heritage and the club’s positive engagement with the local community. Mr Donato also highlighted the club’s vision and plans for establshing a Gnoo Blas museum on a site within the layout of the original Gnoo Blas circuit.
On Wednesday 21 January, Club President Wayne Swadling and Vice President Linda Ogilvie attended the special presentation ceremony and formally received a certificate which memorialises the Community Recognition Statement.
The Gnoo Blas Classic Car Club is honoured to receive this recognition and sincerely thanks Mr Donato for acknowledging the efforts and dedication of its members.
