Jason Kennedy, a custom automotive builder from Parkes NSW recently hauled one of his creations to Japan recently for the 32nd Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show held on 1 December 2024. Jason and his vehicle took out the prestigious Best Custom of Show award. Undoubtedly showing the world the expertise that exists for custom automotive and hot rod builders in Australia.
Members & friends of Gnoo Blas would be able to recall that Jason was also awarded best Ford at the recent Big Boys Toys event held at West Orange Motors in October of this year. Jason’s Ford GT40 was one of the stars of the event and drew quite a lot of interest.
Thanks to Gnoo Blas Member Bill Vaughan for alerting us to Jason’s good fortune in Japan. Bill’s daughter Kate, partner of Jason, also travelled to Yokohama to celebrate the award.
